Dabit Records returns with its fourth release this July, in the shape of 'Natural Message' by Kisk, backed with a remix from Sarp Yilmaz.
The Dabit Records imprint was launched out of Milan in 2013, and although only onto its fourth release, has already put out a single from unsung underground hero Alex Agore. Picking up support along the way from the likes of DJ Sneak, Washerman, Diz and Norm Talley, an indication of the label's attentive A&R approach and quality control. Here the label welcomes Giuseppe D'Alessandro aka Kisk onto its roster, Giuseppe is the owner of the Apparel Music label and here he showcased his infectious Jazz inflected house and techno style.
The release opens with the original version of title track 'Natural Message', kicking off in an ethereal state with moody string melodies, weighty drums and a bubbling atmosphere. Things take off just
after the two-minute mark with jazzy, natural bass licks, organic sax hits and spoken word vocal murmurs, resulting in a classy, understated house record. Turkish producer Sarp Yilmaz steps up to rework 'Natural Message' to close the release, Yilmaz brings the cosseting bass tones to the forefront, while swirling, psychedelic synth pads, penetrative sub-bass and bright strings drive the melodic movement. The latter stages introduce additional electric piano melodies; the end result is a delicately intricate house workout that packs a punch.
